Mayo Science and Technology Festival 2018

Mayo is the place to be for this year’s 12th Annual Science and Technology Festival. The festival runs from the 12th to the 18th November, 2018 throughout the County culminating with an Family Open Day in GMIT, Castlebar on Sunday, 18th from 11.30am.

The Open Day will feature an exciting blend of fantastic interactive shows from The Animal Encounter Zone – National Reptile Zoo to Ireland's Ingenious Engineers Show to The Exploration Dome; industry demonstrations where you can try out the exciting ‘Dream Flyer’; hands-on workshops such as MadlabsLet’s Go to the Moon- Apollo 11Building Robots; presentations such as ‘Drone Jobs of the Future’ , free-giveaways and opportunities for all.

There's something for all the family so drop in to GMIT Castlebar and remember all events are Free of Charge. There is also Free Parking on the Day.

Due to phenomenal demand 


HOWEVER, the remaining 50% of the tickets will be released on the Open Day @11.30am. We would recommend queuing early, as they go very fast! Remember that there are a number of shows/workshops that do not require tickets.
