“Do violent video games and television programs encourage people to become more violent?â€
"As the saying goes "monkey see, monkey do" We evolved from monkeys after all. It is natural for people, especially children to follow other peoples examples. 10 years ago you wouldn't see teenagers out on the street with guns and knifes, now it is the usual thing for teens in some towns and cites. It is no coincidence that this has come about just as violent video games and tv shows have become popular. People as young as twelve have been playing these games. Therefore violence in the media should be monitored closely. Perhaps we should make a later watershed for programmes with such violence and there should be stricter laws enforced with video games age rating. It is not acceptable and something must be done about it."
